Yes, I gave my embryo the unimaginative name of Petri.
We drove past the clinic to visit Petri several times this weekend.
I couldn't help myself, I felt it was the only thing I could do.
It paid off. We received the best news possible.
Petri grew big and strong.
Petri is already an overachiever.
Petri is a textbook perfect embryo.
The perfect shape.
The perfect size.
The perfect number of cells.
I will do everything I can to help Petri snuggle in tight for the next nine months.
I will post Petri's picture later.
And tell you the story of how my transfer was more painful than the retrieval.
But for now, Petri and I are laying low. Watching mindless TV and reading.
Betas are the 25th and 27th.

Congrats on your petri...I am undergoing my first IVF cycle this month and hopefull will have egg collection end of next week...I have severe endo and low egg reserve so its great to hear they still got a good egg even with low egg numbers as quality is better over quantity
